When looking to buy a kitchen clock online make sure they have a graphic/photo so you can see exactly what the clock looks like.  It may sound like what you are looking for but be quite different when you see it. Check out the description carefully and look for what they haven't said as well as what is there.

Buy from a reputable online store or buy through an eBay auction, places where you have a guarantee if it arrives damaged or has been misrepresented in the description. Stores and sellers are more competitive online so you also get a good price.
